Hello!
I was enjoying spring in Vigo, and was excited at Easter being around the corner.
I treated myself to a big chocolate egg and a bear containing smaller eggs. I ordered them from the site I got most of my food delivered from (as I lived up a mountain) and was surprised at just how fancy the big egg was, and at how well-crafted the bear was.
The delivery guy was very gentle with the box that was marked "bear"; it was sweet. The chocolate was delicious.
I headed into the city on the bus to see how Easter-y Vigo would be. It was a beautiful day.

A goose barnacle. These are very expensive and people risk their lives collecting them from rocks. I couldn't believe one was just lying abandoned on the ground
I bought a glasses chain from this colourful lady
I stopped to have lunch at a little café - I enjoyed potato omelette, juice and a little sundae. It was all very nice and it was good to sit and chill.
Not where I was, but interesting-looking
Very fluffy legs!
This shop always struck me as having a disproportionately high number of Dobbys to other characters
Eggs!

Glasses and a cactus
I felt sorry for this pigeon living on top of a fan - it didn't look comfy
Raiding a table

As a final treat I bought an Easter cake - this was lovely albeit incredibly sweet!
Spending Easter in Vigo was great, and I'm really glad I got the opportunity to do so. Keep an eye on my blog as soon I will be bringing you photos of my wonderful neighbours: cats, frogs, crickets and caterpillars.
Thanks for reading,
Liz x
